CINCINNATI -- A man injured in a weekend crash on Interstate 471 has died.Cincinnati police said Michael Martin, 58, was riding a motorcycle on Interstate 471 northbound at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of the motorcycle, striking a concrete wall.Martin was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. Martin was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.Martin was transported to University Hospital, where he died on Monday.

MARTINMichael D. Martin 58, died Monday May 30, 2011, at University Hospital. He was a retired Stationary engineer for Northern Kentucky University. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and a volunteer for the Veterans Hospital of Cincinnati. He is survived by his wife Terri Martin, son Ian Martin of Silver Grove, Ky. son Sean Martin of Kissimmee, Fla. and granddaughter Autumn Martin of Crittenden, Ky, brothers Robert L. Martin of New Port Richey, Fla, and Robert F. Martin of Southgate, Ky, sisters JoAnne Illsley, Alta Loma, Calif. and Laura Tallon of Bellevue, Ky.
Visitation will be Saturday June 11, 2011 from 10am-12 noon, Memorial service to follow at Noon all at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center 30 Commonwealth Ave. Erlanger.
